Sacred Heart’s Pryor and Fairfield’s Karpell Pick Up Hercules Tires MAAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Awards

Junior guard Ny’Ceara Pryor led all scorers with a season-high 24 points in the Pioneers' dominant 79-57 win over Morgan State on Thursday evening. The star junior also tallied seven rebounds, five assists, three steals and a block. She hit her first 3-pointer of the season in the game and went 7-for-8 from the free throw line. Pryor finished four points shy of her career-high of 28 points. SHU's 22-point win is the team's largest of the season.

First-year guard Julia Karpell went 6-for-8 from deep with a career-high 18 points in Fairfield's win over Staten Island.
