In a 1-0 week, senior attacker Joshua Balcarcel totaled a career-high five goals, along with three assists for a career-high eight points in Marist's season-opening victory over Bucknell at home. Balcarcel had five shots on net with all being converted for goals. He also collected a groundball and was credited with the game-winning goal.

Junior goalkeeper Mason Oak made 19 saves in front of the cage for the Bobcats, allowing just 11 goals in the season-opening win. He stopped 10 shots in the first half, then nine in the second half.

Face-off specialist Dylan Bedell went 16-for-29 on faceoffs with 14 groundballs and a goal in Marist's victory over Bucknell.
Rookie of the Week
Collin Patrick, Marist
Fr., Raleigh, NC, Middle Creek High School
In a 1-0 weekend, freshman midfielder Collin Patrick totaled three goals for his first career hat trick, along with an assist for four points and two groundballs in his collegiate debut.
The 2024 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship will take place between April 27 and May 4, 2024. The six-team, single-elimination tournament will open on Saturday, April 27 with the opening round hosted by the higher seed of each matchup. The semifinals and championship final will be hosted by the highest MAAC full member school in the field and will be played on Thursday, May 2 and Saturday, May 4.
