Silber batted an impressive .571 (8-14) over five games last weekend with eight hits, one run, two doubles, three walks, and three RBI's. She logged multi-hit games in three of five outings, including a perfect 3-3 performance in the season opener against Bellarmine.
 
Pitcher of the Week
Nicole Patille, Siena
Gr., Ocean View, DE, Laurel High School
 
Patille held an impressive 1.11 ERA in 12.2 innings over three appearances in the circle last weekend. She tossed 13 strikeouts to just two walks and two earned runs allowed, registering at least four innings in each appearance and tossing six, three, and four K's respectively.
 
Rookie of the Week
Lauren Hilliard, Quinnipiac
1st Yr., Placentia, CA, El Dorado High School
 
The First Year gained the win over UMass-Lowell in the Bobcats first game of the season from the circle, pitching three innings with only one earned run, three strikeouts, while allowing only two hits. In the same game, Hilliard went 2-4 at the plate with two RBIs. She also drew two walks in the Bobcats second game of the season versus Texas A&M Commerce.
