Sophomore goalie Francesca Sena helped the Seahawks go 4-0 over the weekend at the Bison Invitational, with wins over Bucknell, Mercyhurst, St. Francis PA, and La Salle. Sena had 27 blocks, 5 steals, 2 assists in 12 quarters/98 minutes
Rookie of the Week
Anita Radaelli, Mount St. Mary's
Fr., Monza, Italy, Isituto Sant'Elia
Freshman Anita Radaelli ended the Bucknell Invite with 10 goals scored, 9 assists, 4 steals, and 7 drawn exclusions. Scored five times in the Villanova contest. Mount's leader for assists (26), steals (20), and is second in goals with 18.
The 2024 MAAC Water Polo Championship will be held at McCann Natatorium on the campus of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Marist has hosted the Water Polo Championship since 2003. The opening round begins Friday, April 26, followed by the semifinal round on Saturday, April 27, and the final round will take place on Sunday, April 28.
