Canisius’ Eleko and Quinnipiac’s Foley Pick Up Hercules Tires MAAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Award Honors

Sophomore Sisi Eleko notched consecutive double-doubles for the Griffs in their 2-0 week, averaging 19.5 points and 15.0 rebounds per game. Against Marist, she had 18 points, 15 rebounds and three assists while going 6-of-6 from the charity stripe. In the Griffs win over Siena, she had 21 points and 15 rebounds while shooting 9-of-16 (.563) from the field.
 
Rookie of the Week
Anna Folley, Quinnipiac

First year Anna Foley led the Bobcats in points in both of their games this past week. She averaged 21.5 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game. Foley shot 18-for-38 (47.4%) from the floor in those two games, while going 7-for-7 from the free-throw line. Foley scored 15 points against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers and, a new career high, 28 points against Manhattan.

Current conference members include: Canisius University, Fairfield University, Iona University, Manhattan College, Marist College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, Quinnipiac University, Rider University, Saint Peter’s University, and Siena College.
