Offensive Player of the Week
Steven Germain, Quinnipiac

Senior midfielder Steven Germain led the Bobcats with 7 points (4 goals, 3 assists) in a home win over Brown on Saturday. He helped the Bobcats improve to 2-0 in Hamden, scoring three times in the first half of action.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Noble Smith, Marist
Jr., Advance, NC, Forsyth Country Day School

Junior goalkeeper Noble Smith helped the Red Foxes to a 1-0 weekend. He totaled 16 saves with a .667 save percentage to go along with a groundball in a 9-8 OT win over Jacksonville.

In a 1-0 week for the Sharks, sophomore Shaun Hill won 15 of 22 faceoffs in 10-8 win vs. Merrimack.
 
Rookie of the Week
Brody Atkinson, Mount St. Mary's
Fr., Manchester, Md., St. Paul's
 
Freshman attacker Brody Atkinson recorded his first career hat trick in the Mount's Sunday game versus NJIT. He added a pair of assists to be involved in 71 percent of his team's goals.  


The 2024 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship will take place between April 27 and May 4, 2024. The six-team, single-elimination tournament will open on Saturday, April 27 with the opening round hosted by the higher seed of each matchup. The semifinals and championship final will be hosted by the highest MAAC full member school in the field and will be played on Thursday, May 2 and Saturday, May 4. With 11 institutions strongly bound by the sound principles of quality and integrity in academics and excellence in athletics, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) is in its 43rd year of competition during the 2023-24 academic year. Current conference members include: Canisius University, Fairfield University, Iona University, Manhattan College, Marist College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, Quinnipiac University, Rider University, Saint Peter’s University, and Siena College. Merrimack College and Sacred Heart University will join the MAAC as full members in the 2024-25 academic year, expanding the conference to 13 institutions.
