For the week, Corey Washington averaged 23.5 points per game, and eight rebounds per game. In the Peacocks' 75-53 win over Siena on Friday, Feb. 15, Washington scored a career-high 29 points, with six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals. The Saint Peter’s sophomore shot 10-20 (50%) from the field. In the Peacocks’ 59-53 win at Iona on Sunday, Feb. 18, Washington led Saint Peter’s in points and rebounds. The SPU sophomore tallied a double-double on 18 points, and 10 rebounds, along with one block, and three steals. Washington shot 4-9 from the field and 9-9 from the charity stripe.
 
Rookie of the Week
De'Shayne Montgomery, Mount St. Mary’s
Fr., Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Hargrave Military Academy (VA)
 
Montgomery averaged 18.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists for the Mount this week.  He led the Mountaineers with 25 points while adding four assists, two blocks and two steals in the Mount's loss at Fairfield on Sunday.  He opened with 11 points and four rebounds at Rider.  Montgomery shot 14-of-26 (.538) from the field and 3-of-4 (.750) from three-point range on the week.
