Player of the Week
Elisa Mevius, Siena
So., Rendsburg, Germany, Theo-Koch School
Elisa Mevius made history in the regular season finale and only action for the Saints this week, achieving two major milestones. First, the sophomore point guard recorded the first triple-double in Siena Women's Basketball history, posting 16 points, a career-high 16 rebounds, and 10 assists as the Saints defeated Rider on the road. Mevius tallied the first triple-double in the MAAC this season, and just the fifth nationally of at least 15 points and 15 rebounds. Secondly, she added four more thefts, in the process breaking the MAAC single-season record for steals. Mevius also shot a stellar 7-11 from the field to send Siena into Atlantic City on a four-game win streak, highlighted by the program's first top-three finish in six years.
