Graduate student attacker Kyle Gucwa tallied 5 goals and 2 assists in the 12-5 win over Canisius. Gucwa had a .600 SOG%. He also added two ground balls in the road victory.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Connor Hapward, Manhattan
Sr., West Caldwell, N.J., James Caldwell

Senior goalkeeper Connor Hapward recorded a whopping 17 saves in Manhattan's seven-goal, 12-5 win over Canisius on the road. He held the Griffs to only 5 goals to pick up the win, including holding Canisius scoreless in the third period.
 
Face-off Specialist of the Week
Micah Hanson , Canisius

Sophomore face-off specialist Micah Hanson went 16-of-20 at the faceoff with 11 ground balls during the Griffs matchup with MAAC foe Manhattan on March 23. The 16 face-off wins, and 11 ground balls were both season highs for the sophomore. Hanson recorded double-digit face-off wins for the fifth time in the last six games. He also scooped up double-digit ground balls for the seventh time in his career with his performance against the Jaspers.
 
Rookie of the Week
Brody Atkinson, Mount St. Mary's
Fr., Manchester, Md., St. Paul's
 
Freshman Brody Atkinson posted his third career hat trick and earned a four-point game, playing a role in half of the team's goals in an 8-7 win over Wagner. He leads the team with 26 points and 16 goals..
 
The 2024 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship will take place between April 27 and May 4, 2024. The six-team, single-elimination tournament will open on Saturday, April 27 with the opening round hosted by the higher seed of each matchup. The semifinals and championship final will be hosted by the highest MAAC full member school in the field and will be played on Thursday, May 2 and Saturday, May 4.
