Kiley Myers, Marist

Kiley Myers went 2-0 with a 1.02 ERA in 13.2 innings this past week. She struck out 17 with just two walks, and allowed just five hits for a WHIP of 0.51. Against Hampton on March 1, Myers pitched a four-hitter and had a career-high 11 strikeouts. In a relief appearance against Central Connecticut State on March 2, Myers retired all five batters she faced, and she struck out four of them. Against FDU on March 3, Myers pitched a one-hitter in a game that was shortened to five innings due to the mercy rule. She did not walk anyone, struck out two, and needed just 61 pitches to complete five innings.
Player of the Week
Haley Ahr, Marist
R.-So., Union Beach, NJ, St. John Vianney
Haley Ahr hit .667 (10-for-15) with an OPS of 1.870 (.737 on-base, 1.133 slugging) as Marist went 5-0 this past week. She scored eight runs, drove in seven, stole two bases, walked twice, and was hit by two pitches. Five of her 10 hits went for extra bases (four doubles, one home run). Ahr hit safely in all five games, and closed the weekend with four straight multi-hit contests. She scored two runs in four of the five games, and had at least one RBI in each of the last four contests. Ahr reached base safely in all four plate appearances against FDU on March 1, going 3-for-3 with two doubles, two runs scored, an RBI, a walk, and a stolen base. Against Central Connecticut State on March 2, Ahr went 2-for-3 with four RBIs, two runs scored, a home run, a double, and a hit by pitch. She also handled all 15 of her fielding chances successfully (eight putouts, seven assists) while playing three different positions (shortstop, first base, and second base).
Rookie of the Week
Anna Sidlowski, Marist
Fr., Chadds Ford, PA, Garnet Valley
Anna Sidlowski shined as a pitcher and hitter in Marist's 5-0 weekend. For the week, she pitched 11 scoreless innings in the circle with a WHIP of 0.73, and hit .500 with an .833 slugging percentage and four RBIs. On March 1, she started in left field and went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, a run scored, a triple, and a sacrifice bunt in Marist's 9-2 triumph over Hampton. Later that day, she started in the circle and tossed four shutout innings to earn the win against FDU. She allowed just two hits, struck out one, did not walk anyone, and needed just 43 pitches to get through four innings. On March 3, Sidlowski started her day with her first career shutout against Norfolk State. She allowed just four hits and two walks while she struck out five. Later in the day, her two-run single opened the scoring against FDU in Marist's 8-0 triumph. She also stole a base in that game.
