Caroline Behr, Siena

Senior goalkeeper Caroline Behr totaled 21 saves, one steal, and two assists for the Saints in a 1-1 conference weekend. She made 11 saves against #21 LIU, and ten saves, one steal, and two assists in a 19-9 win over VMI.
 
Rookie of the Week
Rebecca Currie, Siena

Freshman attacker Rebecca Currie totaled six goals, three assists, four steals, two blocks, and one exclusion drawn in a 1-1 conference weekend for the Saints, including hat tricks in both games. She went for three goals, one assist, two steals, and two blocks against #21 LIU, and for three goals, two assists, one exclusion drawn, and two steals in a 19-9 win over VMI.
 
The 2024 MAAC Water Polo Championship will be held at McCann Natatorium on the campus of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Marist has hosted the Water Polo Championship since 2003. The opening round begins Friday, April 26, followed by the semifinal round on Saturday, April 27, and the final round will take place on Sunday, April 28.

With 11 institutions strongly bound by the sound principles of quality and integrity in academics and excellence in athletics, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) is in its 43rd year of competition during the 2023-24 academic year. Current conference members include: Canisius University, Fairfield University, Iona University, Manhattan College, Marist College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, Quinnipiac University, Rider University, Saint Peter’s University, and Siena College. Merrimack College and Sacred Heart University will join the MAAC as full members in the 2024-25 academic year, expanding the conference to 13 institutions.
