Lake Buena Vista, FL (Apr. 21, 2024) – Siena men’s golf team claimed their second straight MAAC Championship title this afternjoon at the Palm Golf Course in Disney.
The Saints finished the day with a total score of 860 (-4), taking a three-stroke lead over second place finisher Fairfield. Two Saints finished in the top-ten to claim All-MAAC honors, freshman Michael McConie (70-68-75) and fifth year Nolan Crowley (69-71-73), who both finished tied for second.
A MAAC Championship record was tied today as Niagara freshman Carlos Hernandez tied for the best single-round score with 65. The last to do this was Brandon Luckett from Loyola at the 1995 MAAC Championship.
Rider’s Ben Ortwein found himself atop the individual standings with an overall score of 212 (-4).
