EDISON, NJ (Apr. 26, 2024) – A total of 178 student-athletes were named to the 2023 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’s Lacrosse All-Academic Team, announced by the league office today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Fairfield University led all institutions with 23 selections, followed by Iona University and Niagara University with 21 All-Academic Team honorees. Marist College and Quinnipiac University each placed 20 student-athletes to the team, while Canisius University (18), Mount St. Mary’s University (17), Siena College (17), Manhattan College (16), and Rider University (5) rounded out academic team choices.

The 2024 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship will take place between April 28 and May 5, 2024. The six-team, single-elimination tournament will open on Sunday, April 28 with the opening round hosted by the higher seed of each matchup. The semifinals and championship final will be hosted by the top overall seed in the field and will be played on Friday, May 3 and Sunday, May 5.
