Offensive Player of the Week

Libby Rowe totaled 11 points in a 2-0 week for the #25 Stags. She had a career-best seven points with three goals and four assists in the Stags' Wednesday win oat Marist. Rowe then netted four goals in Saturday's victory at The Mount, including the equalizer and game-winner in as Fairfield turned a 10-9 deficit into an 11-10 victory. Rowe capped her week with four ground balls and four draw controls.
Defensive Player of the Week
Sydney Huhtala, Niagara

Huhtala caused seven turnovers, won eight draw controls, and picked up three ground balls last week as Niagara went 1-1 in MAAC play. At Siena, Huhtala finished with four caused turnovers, two draws and a ground ball. On Saturday against Marist, she caused three ground balls, won six draws and picked up two ground balls. She is averaging 3.00 caused turnovers per game this season, which ranks atop the league and fourth in the country.
Rookie of the Week
Kelly Haggerty, Fairfield
Fr., Port Chester, NY, Sacred Heart Greenwich
Haggerty tallied five points in a 2-0 road week for the #25 Stags. She scored two goals in Wednesday's win at Marist, then added two goals and an assist in the Saturday triumph at The Mount. Haggerty also scooped up nine ground balls for the week.
The 2024 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship will take place between April 28 and May 5, 2024. The six-team, single-elimination tournament will open on Sunday, April 28 with the opening round hosted by the higher seed of each matchup. The semifinals and championship final will be hosted by the top overall seed in the field and will be played on Friday, May 3 and Sunday, May 5.
