LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Men's Golf is heading west for its second straight NCAA Regional appearance. The 2024 MAAC Champion Saints will head to the Stanford Regional in California as part of the 2024 NCAA Men's Golf Regionals for its fifth national postseason appearance at the NCAA Division I level.
The 2024 MAAC Men's Golf champions gathered to continue the celebration of their sixth conference title and witness the 2024 NCAA Men's Golf Selection Show on Wednesday afternoon inside the Turchi Theater on campus.
The Saints will compete as one of 14 qualifying teams and five individual participants at the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, California for 54-hole action from Monday, May 13 – Wednesday, May 15. The top five teams and top five individuals not on those teams from each regional will advance to the 2024 NCAA Men's Golf Championship, set for May 24-39 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
Siena claimed its second straight and sixth overall MAAC title on Sunday, April 21 at Disney's Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida by three strokes. The Saints became the first Siena program to go back-to-back in conference titles since 2012, and did so in its own program history for the second time (2006 & 2007). Nolan Crowley – finished inside the individual top ten to take home All-MAAC honors, while head coach
Steven Jensen was named the MAAC Men's Golf Coach of the Year for the third time at the helm of the program and McConie took home MAAC Rookie of the Year honors.
The program logged previous appearances at the NCAA Division I Regionals in 2006, 2007, 2016, and 2023. Siena placed 23
