Camryn Luginbuhl, Sacred Heart

Senior outside hitter Camryn Luginbuhl was incredible for the Pioneers at the Seton Hall Classic, leading the team with 61 kills (4.36/set), including a record-breaking performance against Kent State. She also racked up 38 digs (2.71/set), eight total blocks and two double-doubles. She started the week with a match-high 12 kills to go along with eight digs against Seton Hall. Luginbuhl then tied a five-set program record with 35 points on a career-best 30 kills, two solo blocks and four assisted blocks. She also added 15 digs for a double-double in a 3-2 SHU win. Her weekend ended with a 19-kill, 15-dig double-double in five sets against NJIT.
Setter of the Week
Gaby Zovko, Sacred Heart

Sophomore setter Gaby Zovko tallied an assist on 118 (8.43/set) of the team's 173 kills at the Seton Hall Classic. She also added 36 digs, 21 kills, nine total blocks and six aces, posting a double-double in all three matches, in a patented busy week for the sophomore setter. Her week began with 25 assists, 10 digs, six kills and three blocks in four sets against Seton Hall. Zovko then tallied a career-best 53 assists with 12 digs, six kills and three blocks in a thrilling five-set win over Kent State on Saturday. Her week concluded with a near triple-double on 40 assists, 14 digs and nine kills in a five-setter against NJIT.
Libero of the Week/Rookie of the Week
Miliani Villarreal, Sacred Heart
Fr., Murrieta, Calif., Vista Murrieta
First year libero Millani Villarreal led the Pioneers with 78 digs (5.57/set) in three matches at the Seton Hall Classic. She also added 25 assists and two aces to her weekend stat line. The first year from Murrieta, Calif., started the week with a team-leading 17 digs with eight assists against Seton Hall. Villarreal followed that up with 27 digs and 11 assists in SHU's five-set win over Kent State on Saturday. She capped the week with her best performance, setting a five-set program record with 34 digs in a thriller against NJIT on Sunday. Villarreal's 34 digs is tied for the second most in a five-set DI match this season.
The 2024 MAAC Volleyball Championship is an eight-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 21-24, 2024 at UHY Center in Loudonville, NY on the campus of Siena College. The first round will take place on Thursday, November 21, followed by the second round on Friday, November 22, the semifinals on Saturday, November 23, and concluding with the championship final on Sunday, November 24.
