Offensive Player of the Week
Madeline Weltin, Canisius

Senior forward Madeline Weltin scored three goals in the Golden Griffins two wins this week. She scored once in a 5-0 victory over Le Moyne and followed that up with a 2-goal contest in a 3-1 win over Saint Peter's which were the game tying and game winning goals.
Defensive Player of the Week
Erin Weir, Canisius
Sr., North Tonawanda, NY, Niagara Wheatfield
Senior defensive player Erin Weir recorded five assists and was a focal point on the backline for the Golden Griffins in their wins over Le Moyne and Saint Peter's this week. Weir recorded three assists versus Le Moyne and was a part of the defensive unit that only allowed one shot on goal. Weir followed that up with a two assist game against Saint Peter's and was once again a key piece on the backline to only allow five shots.
Rookie of the Week
Ashlyn Walsh, Fairfield
Fr., Pelham, NH, Pelham
Freshman forward Ashlyn Walsh had a goal and an assist in Fairfield's 2-0 week, including the game-winning assist against Princeton.
The 2024 MAAC Women’s Soccer Championship is an eight-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 3-10, 2024. Each match during the championship will be hosted by the higher seed and all rounds of the championship will reseed. The quarterfinals will take place on Sunday, November 3, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 7, and concluding with the championship final on Sunday, November 10.
