Junior midfielder Madison Alves led the Bobcats in scoring this weekend with two goals against Saint Peter's, which helped lead the Bobcats to their third MAAC win of the year. Alves recorded goals in both halves in the 3-0 win over the Peacocks, recording the game-winning goal in the 41st minute of action. Alves has recorded goals in back-to-back games for the first time in her career.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Lily Morgan, Merrimack

Graduate student goalie Lily Morgan recorded a shutout over MAAC opponent Niagara. She tallied five saves against the Purple Eagle offense.
 
Rookie of the Week
Catherine Rogers, Siena
Fr., Webster, NY, Webster Thomas
Freshman midfielder Catherine Rogers scored to lead Siena to a 1-1 draw with MAAC frontrunner Fairfield Saturday. No. 7 one-timed home her MAAC-leading seventh goal of the season to pull the Saints even in the 39th minute. Rogers, who also paces the league in shots, accounted for six of the nine total Siena attempts on the afternoon to help the Saints stifle the nation’s fourth longest active winning streak. 
 
The 2024 MAAC Women’s Soccer Championship is an eight-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 3-10, 2024. Each match during the championship will be hosted by the higher seed and all rounds of the championship will reseed. The quarterfinals will take place on Sunday, November 3, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 7, and concluding with the championship final on Sunday, November 10.
