Men’s Track Athlete of the Week:
Dallas Hohney, Rider
Jr., Glassboro, NJ, Glassboro
Middle distance runner Dallas Hohney finished 2nd in the 800 meters at the Penn Select running 1:50.71. It is an Ic4A qualifying mark, # 1 time in the MAAC by over 7 seconds, #3 time all time at Rider. He was also on the 4th place 4x400 relay.
Men’s Field Athlete of the Week:
Jayden DuBard, Rider
Sr., Buffalo, NY, Cheektowaga
Senior thrower Jayden DuBard finished 2nd in the weight throw in 19.11m. It breaks his own Rider Record. It is also an IC4A qualifying mark and the #1 mark in the MAAC.
Women’s Track Athlete of the Week:
Alyssa Romagnoli, Quinnipiac
Gr., Randolph, N.J., Randolph
Graduate student sprinter Alyssa Romagnoli ran the MAAC's fastest time in the 500m, clocking in at 1:15.45 at the UMass Flagship Invite. She also was part of the 4x400 relay team that ran the second-fastest time in the league at 3:53.45.
Women’s Co-Field Athlete of the Week:
Gabby Vetere, Rider
Jr., Turnersville, NJ, Washington TWP
Junior pole vaulter Gabby Vetere finished 2nd in the pole vault clearing 3.80m at the Penn Select. It is the #1 mark in the MAAC, ECAC qualifier, and the #2 mark all time at Rider.
Women’s Co-Field Athlete of the Week:
Magdalena Brogioli, Sacred Heart
So., Mattapoisett, Mass., Old Rochester Regional
Sophomore Magdalena Brogioli won the high jump (1.68m) over the weekend, and took over the MAAC lead in the event. She also finished fifth in the 60m hurdles at 8.87.
The 2025 MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22-23, 2025, at the Nike Track and Field Center at The Armory in New York, New York. The two-day meet will be hosted by Manhattan College and will be held at The Armory for the 21st consecutive year dating back to 2004.
