Offensive Player of the Week
Lucas Almeida, Siena

Lucas Almeida scored three goals over two matches to help lead Siena to a 2-0 week. Two of his goals came as game-winners, one of which coming in the 68th minute to help cap off a second half comeback victory over Marist. He also scored in the 76th minute of that match to extend Siena's lead to 3-1. Almeida went on to secure his team-leading eighth goal of the season in a 2-0 win over Saint Peter's on Nov. 1, also putting him in sole possession for the second most in the MAAC.
Defensive Player of the Week
Bennet Glinder, Siena
Jr., Bremen, Germany, Schule an der Ronzelenstrabe
Bennet Glinder led Siena to two wins this past week and also tied the MAAC lead with his fifth clean sheet of the season in the team's win over Saint Peter's on Nov. 9. Glinder allowed just one goal over two matches and posted a .900 save percentage. He made four saves in the team's 3-1 win over Marist on Oct. 29, and stopped each of Saint Peter's five shots on target in a 2-0 decision on Nov. 1.
Rookie of the Week
Enbiya Bolur, Iona
Fr., Paterson, NJ, Maarif School
Rookie Enbiya Bolur had a strong week as the Iona University men’s soccer team went 1-0-1 in league action. The Paterson, NJ native played 50 minutes and fired one shot attempt in the 0-0 draw at Sacred Heart on Wednesday. Bolur followed that up with the game winning goal in Saturday’s 3-1 victory over Mount St. Mary’s. He broke the 1-1 tie with a strike from 15-yards out in the 58th minute. The goal was the rookies third game winning goal of the season, and he is now tied for the team lead with four goals on the year.
The 2025 MAAC Men’s Soccer Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 9-16, 2025. Each match during the championship will be hosted by the higher seed and all rounds of the championship will reseed. The first round will take place on Sunday, November 9, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 13, and concluding with the championship final on Sunday, November 16.
