Manhattan’s Brennan, Rider’s Hohney and Stephens, and Quinnipiac’s Smith Pick Up Bob McCloskey Insurance MAAC Indoor Track & Field Weekly Awards

Men’s Track Athlete of the Week:
Dallas Hohney, Rider
Jr., Glassboro, NJ, Glassboro
 
Junior middle distance runner Dallas Hohney won the 400m at the Fastrack Invitational running 47.64. He smashed the Rider Record, #1 time in the MAAC by over 1 second, and an IC4A qualifying mark. He also ran a great leg on the winning 4x400m relay team in 3:15.64. It is the #1 time in the MAAC by over 3 seconds. 
 
Men’s Field Athlete of the Week:
Paul Brennan, Manhattan
Gr.,Cranbury, NJ, Princeton

For the second week in a row, graduate thrower Paul Brennan set a new personal best in weight throw with a score of 20.10m.
 
Women’s Track Athlete of the Week:
Rylie Smith, Quinnipiac
Sr.,  Pittsburgh, Pa., Seneca Valley
 
Senior sprinter Rylie Smith ran two, MAAC-fastest times over the weekend in the 200m (24.75) and 400m (55.57), winning both events at the FastTrack National Invite.
 
Women’s Field Athlete of the Week:
Mariah Stephens, Rider
Sr., Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Egg Harbor Township
 
Senior Mariah Stephens won the long jump at the Fastrack Invitational with a mark of 5.98m. It is the #1 mark in the MAAC by over 9 inches, an ECAC qualifying mark, and the #2 mark all time at Rider. 
 
 
The 2025 MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22-23, 2025, at the Nike Track and Field Center at The Armory in New York, New York. The two-day meet will be hosted by Manhattan College and will be held at The Armory for the 21st consecutive year dating back to 2004.
