Marist Sweeps Jersey Mike’s MAAC Softball Weekly Awards

Isabella Manory, Marist

Isabella Manory had a 1.850 OPS (1.250 slugging, .600 on-base) while hitting .500 (6-for-12) with nine RBIs, three home runs, and four runs scored as Marist went 3-1 against quality competition at the Battle at the Beach Tournament. Against Kent State on Feb. 14, Manory hit a walk-off three-run homer in Marist's 6-3 victory. It was her second homer of the day, as her first brought Marist to within one run in the fourth inning. Against Towson on Feb. 15, Manory went 4-for-5 with five RBIs, a homer, and two runs scored as Marist erased three deficits in a 13-9 win in eight innings. Her three-run homer tied the game in the top of the fourth and was the key blow in a four-run inning, and she added an RBI single in the Red Foxes' decisive four-run eighth. Manory reached safely in all four games this weekend. With her three homers this weekend, Manory took over the MAAC lead in that category with five on the season.
 
Pitcher of the Week
Kiley Myers, Marist

Kiley Myers registered wins in both of her appearances this week, which included a four-hit shutout of ACC foe Notre Dame. Against the Fighting Irish, Myers went the distance in Marist's 6-0 triumph. She struck out two and did not walk anyone. She also earned a victory with three innings of relief in Marist's 13-9 win over Towson in eight innings on Saturday, in which she recorded three strikeouts. For the week, Myers went 2-0 with a 1.40 ERA and 0.80 WHIP, as she allowed just two runs, seven hits, and one walk over 10 innings of work while fanning five.
 
Rookie of the Week
Sienna Kunze, Marist

Freshman Sienna Kunze hit .286 with a .500 slugging percentage plus three runs scored and three RBIs as Marist went 3-1 against quality competition at the Battle at the Beach Tournament. In a 6-0 win over ACC foe Notre Dame on Feb. 14, Kunze delivered a two-run single in the fifth inning. In a 13-9 win over Towson on Feb. 15, Kunze had an RBI triple and then scored in the Red Foxes four-run eighth inning. She then went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored against Coastal Carolina later in the day. 
 
The 2025 MAAC Softball Championship is an eight-team single and double elimination championship taking place between May 6-10, 2025. Games 1 and 2 will be single elimination and games 3-12 will be double elimination. The championship will be hosted by the highest seed.
