Fairfield’s Burke, Siena’s Giroux, and Quinnipiac’s Shah Earn LEVY Recognition Golfer of the Week Honors

Men’s Co-Golfer of the Week

Junior Austin Giroux finished the Loyola Intercollegiate tied for 19th at -3 (213) in the field of 116 - one stroke shy of cracking the top-eight for the lowest 54-hole score in program history. Ranked sixth in the field averaging a 3.08 on par 3s, and 20th averaging a 4.42 on par 5s - both the best averages on Siena over the three days. Giroux totaled the ninth-most pars in the field with 37, and also had nine birdies over his three rounds.

Tadgh Burke, Fairfield
Fr., Lake Bluff, Ill., Lake Forest
 
Tadgh Burke set the pace for the Stags at the Loyola Intercollegiate in Goodyear, Ariz., finishing tied for 19th in a field of 116 golfers. He carded a 213 (-3) over 54 holes with rounds of 72, 70 and 71 at Palm Valley Golf Club. Burke was one of just 17 players to shoot par or better in all three of his rounds at the tournament.
 
 
Women’s Golfer of the Week
Vaidehi Shah, Quinnipiac
Fy., Bridgewater, NJ,  Bridgewater - Raritan
 
Vaidehi Shah and the Bobcats opened their Spring season at the Columbia Classic held at the Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Florida. Shah was Quinnipiac's best finisher as she finished the three-round tournament in third place. Shah shot a 74 (+2) to open up the tournament and then followed up with a 77 (+5) and a 78 (+6) to close things out. 
 
The 2025 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Golf Championships return to Disney’s Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL from April 17-19. The 2025 championships will mark the 14th consecutive season the championships are hosted at Disney’s Golf Course dating back to 2011, and the 23rd overall time since 2000.
