Offensive Player of the Week
Courtney Novotny, VMI

Last year's team leader in goals, Novotny netted nine goals in four games, helping the Keydets go 3-1 on the weekend including two one-goal wins. Senior attacker Courtney Novotny scored four goals in a one-goal win over Augustana, two against McKendree. Novotny would add a goal against host Macalester (14-13 win) and two in a win over Carthage. 
 
Co-Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week
Gracin Kerry, Villanova
Jr.,  Long Beach, Calif.,  Mater Dei

Junior goalkeeper Gracin Kerry saved seven shots in goal, including a 5M save in a win over Siena.

Lilly Morris, Iona
Gr.,  Southfield, MI, Seaholm

In a 1-3 weekend at Arizona State, Lilly Morris made 38 saves and added 12 steals. She set a weekend high, in a tight loss to LIU, with 14 saves on 30 shots faced and she added four steals. 
 
 
Rookie of the Week
Makynna Smith, VMI
Fr., C Houston, Texas, Cypress Creek

Freshman center Makynna Smith had an impressive weekend, netting eight goals including a game-winner over Augustana. Smith, who helped the Keydets to a 3-1 record on the weekend, scored a career-high four goals in a win over Carthage. Smith's efforts have helped VMI to its best start since 2020. 
 
 
The 2025 MAAC Water Polo Championship will take place April 25-27, 2025. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by Marist University in Poughkeepsie, NY. Marist has hosted the Water Polo Championship annually since 2003.
