Player of the Week
Haley Ahr, Marist
R.-Jr., Union Beach, NJ, St. John Vianney
Haley Ahr hit .588 (10-for-17) with a 1.787 OPS (1.176 slugging, .611 on-base) and 12 RBIs in five games as Marist went 3-2 in the Stetson Invitational. Ahr contributed four doubles, two home runs, four runs scored, and a walk. She hit safely and had at least one RBI in all five games, and enjoyed three multi-hit games.
Against LIU on Friday, her grand slam broke the game open in the fourth inning, as she went 3-for-3 with four RBIs and two runs scored while adding a double. On Saturday, she had an RBI single against #25 Florida Atlantic. Later that day, she went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a double in a victory over host Stetson. She closed out the tournament by going 3-for-3 with four RBIs, a homer, a double, and a walk as she drove in the Red Foxes' first four runs in a 5-0 triumph over LIU on Sunday.
Pitcher of the Week
Kiley Myers, Marist
Gr., Latrobe, PA, Greater Latrobe
Kiley Myers pitched a no-hitter against LIU and earned a complete game win at Stetson - which has been ranked as high as #8 in the D1Softball Mid-Major Poll this season - in her two appearances this past week. For the week, Myers was 2-0 with an 0.58 ERA and 0.83 WHIP, and she did not walk a batter in 12 innings of work. Against LIU on Feb. 21, she needed just 51 pitches in her five-inning outing, which included two strikeouts. She allowed just one baserunner, and then retired the final 10 Sharks she faced. At Stetson on Feb. 22, Myers needed just 83 pitches to get through seven innings, and struck out two while allowing just one earned run in Marist's 6-2 victory.
Rookie of the Week
Tabitha von Kolen, Canisius
Fr., Phoenix, Ariz., Xavier College Preparatory
Freshman outfielder Tabitha von Kolen went 6-for-14 with a .429 batting average over five games this week. von Kolen recorded two triples and two walks with one RBI.
The 2025 MAAC Softball Championship is an eight-team single and double elimination championship taking place between May 6-10, 2025. Games 1 and 2 will be single elimination and games 3-12 will be double elimination. The championship will be hosted by the highest seed.
