Senior attacker Carlota Alonso scored 13 goals in four total games this weekend at the Bruno Classic. Alonso helped the Seahawks earn two victories and recorded five goals in a game against #20 Harvard.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Gracin Kerry, Villanova
Jr., Long Beach, CA, Mater Dei


Junior goalkeeper Gracin Kerry started and appeared in all four games during the Bruno Invitational. She recorded 36 saves across the weekend, including 15 against Brown. Against Salem, she only allowed two goals in the first half. Kerry also tallied six steals and three assists.
 
Rookie of the Week
Leilani Horan, Mount St. Mary's
Fr., Papamoa, New Zealand
 
Freshman center Leilani Horan played in all four games of the VMI Invite this past weekend against Saint Francis, Bucknell, Austin, and Gannon. Across her appearances this past weekend, Horan scored 12 goals, recorded two assists, completed two steals, and drew one exclusion. I the 15-10 win against Gannon, Horan scored five goals alone.  
 
 
The 2025 MAAC Water Polo Championship will take place April 25-27, 2025. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by Marist University in Poughkeepsie, NY. Marist has hosted the Water Polo Championship annually since 2003.
