Player of the Week
Miah McDonald, Marist

Miah McDonald belted five home runs and drove in 15 as Marist went 5-0 at the Buccaneer Classic this past weekend, hosted by East Tennessee State. She hit .412 with a 1.794 OPS (1.294 slugging, .500 on-base) while also scoring eight runs, drawing three walks, and stealing two bases. McDonald hit safely in all five games, and drove in multiple runs in four of them. Against Mercyhurst on Friday, her three-run homer broke a scoreless tie in the sixth inning. On Saturday, she belted a grand slam in the second inning against St. Bonaventure. Later that day, she hit a three-run homer against Mercyhurst. McDonald closed out the week with a pair of two run homers, five RBIs, and three runs scored against St. Bonaventure on Sunday.
Pitcher of the Week
Kiley Myers, Marist
Gr., Latrobe, PA, Greater Latrobe
Kiley Myers went 2-0 with an ERA of 0.64 and a WHIP of 0.64 in her two appearances last week. She gave up just one run and four hits over 11 innings with eight strikeouts. In her first outing of the week, Myers tossed a one-hit shutout against Mercyhurst on Friday, which included three strikeouts. In a 10-1 victory in five innings against St. Bonaventure on Sunday, Myers allowed just one run, three hits, and one walk over four innings as she struck out five and improved to 10-0 on the season.
Rookie of the Week
Ava Armuth, Fairfield
Fr., Boise, Idaho, Bishop Kelly
Ava Armuth posted a .462 batting average over a five-game set at the Penn State Invitational, hitting two home runs and collecting eight RBI. She posted a .500 on base percentage with a 1.077 slugging percentage. She had two multi-hit games including a 3 for 3 effort with a homer, a triple, three runs scored and four RBI in a win over Lafayette. She also hit a grand slam against Canisius accounting for her four RBI, stroking two hits in four at-bats against the Griffs.
The 2025 MAAC Softball Championship is an eight-team single and double elimination championship taking place between May 6-10, 2025. Games 1 and 2 will be single elimination and games 3-12 will be double elimination. The championship will be hosted by the highest seed.
