Haley Ahr, Marist

Haley Ahr hit .875 with a 1.900 OPS (1.000 slugging, .900 on-base) in Marist's two games last week, a doubleheader sweep at Lafayette on Friday. She reached safely in nine of her 10 plate appearances. She went 4-for-4 with a run scored and a walk in Marist's 11-2 game one victory. In game two, she went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, a walk, and a run scored in the Red Foxes' 11-1 win.
 
Pitcher of the Week
Alyssa Weinberg, Fairfield
Jr., Levittown, NY, Division
 
Alyssa Weinberg appeared in three games last week, posting a 1-1 record with a 0.93 ERA and 27 strikeouts over her 22.2 innings pitched. She opened with 5.2 innings of scoreless relief against Central Connecticut, recording 12 strikeouts in the 17 outs she recorded. She tossed 10 innings and allowed one earned run against UNC-Greensboro with eight strikeouts, before rebounding with a victory against Charleston Southern the next day. She fanned seven hitters in seven innings and allowed two earned runs in the outing.
 
Rookie of the Week
Elle Leckrone, Sacred Heart
FY., La Cañada, CA, La Cañada
 
Leckrone owned a team-best .571 batting average (4-for-7) in SHU's doubleheader split against Brown on Saturday. She went 2-for-3 in the opener and 2-for-4 with two runs and a double in SHU's 12-7 win in the nightcap. 
 
The 2025 MAAC Softball Championship is an eight-team single and double elimination championship taking place between May 6-10, 2025. Games 1 and 2 will be single elimination and games 3-12 will be double elimination. The championship will be hosted by the highest seed.
