In 3 wins this weekend at the VMI-MAAC Showcase, Carlota Alonso tallied 10 goals and one assist. Alonso scored three goals in a 10-7 win over #22 Marist. She then scored three goals against VMI and then four goals and an assist against Iona.

Sophomore goalkeeper Olivia Fernie recorded 40 saves in three starts for the Mountaineers this week at the VMI-MAAC showcase while notching wins against both VMI and Villanova. 
 
 
Rookie of the Week
Rylie Hull, Villanova
Fr., San Diego, CA., Helix Charter


Riley Hull scored 13 goals, drew eight exclusions, and had each a steal and an assist during her three games at the VMI-MAAC Showcase. She started off the weekend on Saturday, scoring five goals and drawing two exclusions against Mount St. Mary's. Hull followed that up the next morning against Siena, tallying another five goals and drawing five exclusions, as well as recording a field block. In the finale against VMI, she scored three times, and added her final exclusion of the weekend.
 
 
The 2025 MAAC Water Polo Championship will take place April 25-27, 2025. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by Marist University in Poughkeepsie, NY. Marist has hosted the Water Polo Championship annually since 2003.
