Men’s Track Athlete of the Week:
Delano Gooden, Saint Peter's

Graduate student Delano Gooden delivered an strong performance at the Maryland Invitational, playing a key role in the 4x1 team's success. Gooden anchored the men’s 4x100m relay team that smashed a nine-year-old school record, finishing in 41.24 and securing the #85 spot on AthleticNet's
2025 D I Top 100 list. Individually, he placed 3rd in the 100m (10.87) and was the top-finishing Peacock in the 200m, clocking 21.86 for 5th place.

Men’s Field Athlete of the Week:
Jayden DuBard, Rider
Sr., Buffalo, NY, Cheektowaga
Senior thrower Jayden DuBard won the shot put at the Rider 4 Way in 16.33m. It is the top mark in the MAAC and an IC4A qualifier. He also finished 3rd in the hammer throw with a mark of 52.00m. It is also an IC4A qualifying mark.
Women’s Track Athlete of the Week:
Alessandra Zaffina, Quinnipiac
Gr., Trumbull, Conn., Trumball
In her return to the outdoor track for the first time since 2023, Zaffina broke her own school record in the 3000m Steeplechase at the Raleigh Relays, finishing in 10:19.96. That time is also good for tops in the MAAC and No. 11 in the NCAA East Region.

Women’s Field Athlete of the Week:
Talia Graham, Quinnipiac
Fy., Bethel Conn.
First year Talia Graham broke her own school record in the pole vault in her first collegiate outdoor meet, marking 3.75m in her second attempt. That mark is also good for second in the MAAC.

The 2025 MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22-23, 2025, at the Nike Track and Field Center at The Armory in New York, New York. The two-day meet will be hosted by Manhattan College and will be held at The Armory for the 21st consecutive year dating back to 2004.
