Utility Sydney deVroedt led LIU goals scored in all three matches over the weekend, scoring seven goals against VMI on Saturday, six goals against Villanova on Saturday and four goals against Wagner on Sunday.

Freshman goal keeper Becca Engquist record 27 saves in two starts for the Mountaineers this past weekend, including 18 saves in the team's 13-12 win over Siena. The win clinch a spot in the MAAC Water Polo playoffs.
 
Rookie of the Week
Margherita Pantani, Marist

Freshman defender Margherita Pantani had a dominant game in the Red Foxes #1 seed clinching game against Iona. In the Red Foxes 13-12 win, Pantani registered a team-high five steals and two blocks in the Red Foxes win. Pantani was also a force in the Red Foxes three other wins of the weekend, tallying 10 more steals and five more blocks.
 
The 2025 MAAC Water Polo Championship will take place April 25-27, 2025. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by Marist University in Poughkeepsie, NY. Marist has hosted the Water Polo Championship annually since 2003.
