EDISON, NJ. (April 16, 2025) – The 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Golf Championships are set to take place this weekend at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Fl. The championship returns to Magnolia for the first time since 2022 after playing on it’s neighboring course, Palm. The MAAC Championship is the first tournament to play Magnolia since its renovations. The championships will have three rounds and take place across three days beginning on Thursday and concluding on Saturday.
 
Sacred Heart University enter the championship top of the standings on the men’s side. The Pioneers were selected as the 2025 MAAC preseason favorite. On the women’s side, Quinnipiac University stands atop the standings heading into the weekend. Last year, the Bobcats tied the Fairfield Stags for a second-place finish (891, +27), just three strokes behind the MAAC Champion UAlbany.
 
The men’s teams in action will be: Canisius University, Fairfield University, Iona University, Manhattan University, Merrimack College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, Rider University, Sacred Heart University, Saint Peter’s University and Siena College.
 
The teams competing in the women’s field are the Fairfield University, Merrimack College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, Quinnipiac University, Sacred Heart University, Siena College, and UAlbany.

The 2025 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Golf Championships return to Disney’s Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL from April 17-29. The 2025 championships will mark the 14^th consecutive season the championships are hosted at Disney’s Golf Course dating back to 2011, and the 23^rd overall time since 2000.
