Colin Kruger, Merrimack

Sophomore attacker Colin Kruger had an immaculate game for the Warriors in their first conference win of the season. He helped lead Merrimack to a 19-6 win over Iona going off for seven points, 3 goals and 4 assists, along with scooping up a ground ball. 
 
Defensive Player of the Week 
Alex Pazienza, Sacred Heart 
Gr., Holtsville, NY, Saint Anthony's 
 
Fifth year goalkeeper Alex Pazienza made 12 saves for the Pios and tied for the team lead in ground balls with four in SHU's 12-7 win over Quinnipiac on Saturday. 
 
Co-Face-off Specialist of the Week 
Micah Hanson, Canisius 
Jr., Black Earth, Wis., Wisconsin Heights 
 
Junior face-off specialist Micah Hanson went 11-of-19 on draws and scooped up seven ground balls in the Griffs 12-6 victory at Mount St. Mary's on April 5. 
 
Co-Face-off Specialist of the Week 
Logan Banek, Siena 
Fr., New Hartford, NY. New Hartford 
 
Freshman face-off specialist Logan Banek won 12 of 22 face offs (.545) with eight ground balls in Siena's 12-8 road conference win at Manhattan.  
 
Rookie of the Week 
John Savino, Merrimack 
Fr., Smithtown, N.Y., Smithtown High School West 
 
First year attacker John Savino added to his excellent freshman campaign as he finished the 19-6 win over Iona with five points that included a pair of goals and three assists. 
 
The 2025 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place from April 27 through May 3, 2025. The first round will be hosted by No. 3 and No. 4 seeds, while the semifinals and championship will be hosted by the top overall seed. All rounds of the championship will reseed.
