EDISON, NJ (July 21, 2026) – The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced its 2025-26 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls on Tuesday afternoon, recognizing women's basketball programs across the country for their outstanding academic achievement.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes women's basketball teams across six divisions that post the highest combined grade-point averages among all student-athletes on their rosters throughout the academic year. To be eligible for consideration, teams must achieve a combined GPA of 3.0 or higher, and the team's head coach must be a WBCA member and nominate the program for recognition.

Two institutions earned a spot among the NCAA Division I Academic Top 25, led by Saint Peter's University, which ranked 14th nationally with a combined team GPA of 3.741. Fairfield University also earned a place on the list, ranking 19th with a combined GPA of 3.698.

Five additional institutions received special mention for their academic accomplishments. Iona University posted a 3.574 GPA, followed by Marist University at 3.572, Manhattan University at 3.506, Sacred Heart University at 3.421, and Rider University at 3.259.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll highlights the continued commitment of women's basketball student-athletes and programs to excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
