One of the largest indoor, multisport training and competition facilities in the world, SPIRE’s growing 800-acre campus features more than 850,000 square feet of world-class facilities under one roof. The Aquatics Center is highlighted by a 10-lane, 50-meter Olympic Myrtha pool, which has been dubbed by some as “the fastest pool in North America.” The facility regularly hosts major collegiate events, camps and an academy program for student-athletes looking to take their talents to the next level.

“We are thrilled to extend our partnership with SPIRE Academy through 2029. SPIRE has been a tremendous host for our student-athletes, coaches and fans, and its world-class Aquatics Center is an outstanding venue for the Metro Swimming and Diving Championships,” said Metro Conference Commissioner Travis Tellitocci. “We look forward to continuing to build on this partnership and creating a first-class championship experience for our student-athletes.”

"SPIRE, and our pool in particular, is one of the best facilities in the country, and we are proud to share it with the best young athletes and the partners who bring them here. The Metro Conference is exactly that kind of partner, and this extension lets us keep doing what we do best: hosting the biggest events in college athletics. We're excited to keep building this with them through 2029.” said Jonathan Ehrenfeld, Managing Member of the SPIRE Academy.
