Senior forward Lucas Almeida led Siena’s attack with five points on two goals and an assist across two matches, helping the Saints earn a 1-1 record on the week. Almeida opened the week with the game-winning goal and an assist in Siena’s 3-0 home victory over LIU on Sept. 15, registering three shots with two on goal. He then scored Siena’s game-tying goal in a 2-1 road setback at Fairfield on Sept. 19, finishing the week with four shots, three on goal, and one game-winning goal.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Anthony Suarez, Sacred Heart

Suarez made 10 saves across two matches, including seven saves at Merrimack, helping the Pioneers go 1-0-1 on the week. He made several key full-extension saves, including a pair of diving stops late against Merrimack to preserve the 1-1 draw. His performance at FDU also allowed the Pioneers to come back late in the game to take the win from behind. 
 
Rookie of the Week
Brayden O’Boyle, Iona
Fr. Commack, NY, Commack High School
 
Freshman Brayden O'Boyle recorded his first career brace in Iona's 6-1 victory over Canisius on Saturday to open conference play. The Commack, NY native entered the contest in the 26th minute and made an immediate impact, scoring twice in the 34th and 44th minutes to help the Gaels secure their first league win of the season.
 
The 2026 Metro Men's Soccer Championship is a six-team, single-elimination tournament scheduled for November 7–14. Each match will be hosted by the higher seed, with teams reseeded following each round of the championship. The tournament begins with the first round on Saturday, November 7, followed by the semifinals on Wednesday November 11. The championship concludes with the title match on Saturday, November 14.
