Zofia Sykut ran the Fairfield offense to a conference-best .311 hitting percentage on opening weekend of Metro play. She averaged 10.38 assists per set in the wins at Niagara and Canisius and also contributed to the scoring with six kills, four aces, and five blocks. In the back row, Sykut averaged 2.00 digs per stanza.

Sophia Minlend posted back-to-back double-doubles to open up Metro Conference action this past weekend, registering 27 kills and 28 digs in total. She posted 16 kills and 17 digs on Friday night at Iona, then followed up with an 11-kill, 11-dig performance in Saturday's win over Manhattan.
 
The 2026 Metro Volleyball Championship will serve as the final event of the fall championship season, taking place from November 17-23. The tournament will feature the top six teams in the standings, with the higher seed hosting first-round matches. The No. 1 seed will host the semifinals and championship match on consecutive days, with the host institution selecting the dates of competition.
