Marsilii, Zeberio, and Carlos earn Week 3 Metro Men’s Soccer Weekly Award Honors

Throughout the week, Marsilii, one of 26 newcomers for the Jaspers, posted a combined three goals against SUNY Maritime on Wednesday and Howard on Sunday afternoon. Combined, the Italian product also added two assists, while adding eight shots in a combined 107 minutes on the pitch for the Jaspers.
 
Defensive Player of the Week

Axier Zeberio was a key contributor for the Pioneers across two games this week, helping lead Sacred Heart to a 2-0 victory over LIU while also providing a strong defensive presence against Vermont. Against LIU, Zeberio recorded two goals on two shots, including the game-winning goal, while playing 59 minutes. He followed that performance with another 59 minutes against Vermont, recording one shot and one shot on goal. Across the two games, Zeberio totaled 118 minutes, three shots, three shots on goal and two goals, including the game-winner against LIU.
 
Rookie of the Week
Cristiano Carlos, Fairfield

Cristiano Carlos had an impact in both of Fairfield's draws last week, finishing with a goal and an assist in the two games. He picked up an assist on the team's tying goal in the 73rd minute against Lehigh. He came back later in the week and tallied the tying goal in a 3-3 draw with Columbia, finishing in the 74th minute. Carlos has scored at least one point in each of his four games since joining the Stags and leads the team with three goals and an assist for seven points.
 
The 2026 Metro Men's Soccer Championship is a six-team, single-elimination tournament scheduled for November 7–14. Each match will be hosted by the higher seed, with teams reseeded following each round of the championship. The tournament begins with the first round on Saturday, November 7, followed by the semifinals on Wednesday November 11. The championship concludes with the title match on Saturday, November 14.
