EDISON, N.J. ? A total of 39 athletes comprise the 2007 MAAC Football League All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution, be a significant starter or reserve and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Duquense University led all schools with 12 members named to the team. Iona College had 10 athletes, while Marist College had nine players named to the team. La Salle University rounded out the team with seven athletes.
