This season, Shackley led the Jaspers with five goals for ten points in 12 games. A two-year co-captain, Shackley scored a brace in Manhattan's 3-1 Senior Day victory over Marist on Saturday, Oct. 24.
As the No. 9 seed in the MAAC Tournament, the Jaspers battled Saint Peter's in the first round of postseason action. Shackley netted the game-winner with one second remaining to push Manhattan to a quarterfinal meeting with Monmouth. Shackley is a math major and currently holds a 3.32 grade point average.
Claire Archibald

Freshman Claire Archibald completed a week where she earned a double-double in each of Iona’s three contests.
On Wednesday, Nov. 11 in the Maroon & Gold’s five-set win versus against Saint Peter’s, Archibald registered 18 kills and 23 defensive digs.
On Saturday, Nov. 14, the rookie exploded for a 20-20 effort, posting 25 kills and 22 digs in the four set win against the Quinnipiac Bobcats. She also recorded 27 points, setting a new career-high, and season-high for the Gaels this year; it was the second-highest in a single-match by a MAAC performer, and the highest ever in a four-set contest. During the match on Saturday, Archibald set a new Iona rookie record for kills, eclipsing the program’s all-time career kill leader Miki Hogg and her 349 set during the 2002 campaign.
On Sunday, it was a 12 kills and 11 dig effort for Archibald, ensuring that she finished the year with a team-best 11 double-doubles. The Gaels lost in their season-finale to Fairfield in four sets.
Archibald finished her rookie campaign with 378 kills and 326 digs; those marks rank first and third respectively amongst Iona’s rookie record book.
