Matthew Batten moved into the Quinnipiac record books over the weekend, passing Tim Binkoski '07 for first place on the all-time hits list in program history. Batten's 246 hits stand alone for first place on the career record list. In addition to the hits record, Batten scored twice on Saturdya to tie head coach John Delaney's career Div. I record at Quinnipiac (since 1999) with 139 runs scored.
Rachel MacCheyne, Niagara

Rachel MacCheyne set two single-season records in her sophomore season with Niagara women's lacrosse, tallying 60 goals and 75 points in 19 games. The sophomore attacker was named to the All-MAAC First Team alongside fellow Purple Eagle Alexandra Higgins. MacCheyne tallied seven goals and one assist in two playoff games and was named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team as Niagara advanced to the MAAC semifinals for the first time since 2003. MacCheyne was also honored with Niagara's Vincent O'Malley Student-Athlete of the Year award.
A member of the 2017 MAAC Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, MacCheyne carries a cumulative GPA of 3.4.
