Offensive Player of the Week

Carly Quinn, Canisius, Sr., Attack, 5-7, Orangeville, Ontario/Orangeville SS

Quinn led the Griffs to victory in the team's only game of the week, matching a season high with eight points in a 20-8 win against local rival St. Bonaventure. The senior netted four goals along with four assists in the convincing victory, which included five points (2 goals, 3 assists) in a game-defining 8-0 first-half run.

Defensive Player of the Week

Katie Keenan, Fairfield, Jr., Goalkeeper, 5-7, Wantagh, N.Y.

Keenan was brilliant in goal for the Stags, stopping nearly 60 percent of the shots she faced on the week and finished the two games with just a 9.00 GAA. In the win over Lehigh she stopped a career-best 17 shots, for an impressive .680 save percentage. Keenan then went on to stop 11 shots, .596 save percentage, in 66:44 of action against Rutgers. Keenan also had three ground balls and a caused turnover in the two games.

Rookie of the Week

Courtney Chmil, Fairfield, Fr., Midfielder, 5-8, Garden City, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy

Chmil continues to impress in her rookie season, doing a little bit of everything for the Stags this week. She scored a pair of goals in each game on the week, and finished second n the team with four points. Chmil picked up a team-best nine ground balls during the week, scooping up five against Rutgers. She also caused a team-best four turnovers, with three coming in the win over Lehigh. In that game she had four draw controls, four ground balls, and a pair of goals. Chmil was 1-2 in free position chances against Rutgers.
