MAAC Welcomes New Fellow Kate Tagliareni

EDISON, NJ (November 30, 2021) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) welcomes Kate Tagliareni as a new administrative fellow for the remainder of the 2021-22 academic year.
 
Tagliareni, a graduate of the Iona College LaPenta School of Business will be an integral part of planning and executing the conference’s championships, ancillary events and perform day-to-day operations.
 
“We are excited to welcome Kate to the MAAC family,” MAAC Commissioner Rich Ensor said. “Kate brings invaluable marketing experience with her from her time at Iona and we are excited for everything that she will accomplish as she begins her professional career working in college sports.” 
 
Past participants in the program have gone on to work full-time at the conference office, member institutions and various Division I athletic departments throughout the country.
 
Throughout her time at Iona, Tagliareni worked as a Marketing and Promotions Intern in the Iona College Athletics Marketing Department. She worked closely with the marketing and promotions team for the college’s basketball events.
 
In addition to her aforementioned internship, Tagliareni was a member of the Iona College women’s rowing team, served on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) at Iona and supported Iona College Residential Life as graduate assistant.
