MAAC Welcomes 2021-22 Fellows

EDISON, NJ (August 16, 2021) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) welcomes its fellows for the 2021-22 academic year: Gabrielle Ana Harris and Max Felsenstein.
 
These two recent college graduates will be an integral part of planning and executing the conference’s championships, ancillary events and day-to-day operations.
 
"The MAAC is very happy to welcome Gabrielle and Max to the team,” said MAAC Commissioner Rich Ensor. "We are grateful they are starting their professional careers in college athletics with the MAAC and we hope to impart the knowledge and expertise to put them on a successful career path."
 
Past participants in the program have gone on to work full-time at the conference office, member institutions and various Division I athletic departments throughout the country.
 
The 2021-22 MAAC Fellows are as follows:
 
Gabrielle Ana Harris – Harris graduated from Saint Peter’s University in 2020 with her bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. She played basketball throughout her collegiate career, appearing for William Paterson University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Saint Peter’s University and Florida A&M University. While at Saint Peters’ she spent time as an Athletic Training Intern and has been a Youth Basketball Coach at Monroe Sports Center since 2017.
 
Max Felsenstein – Felsenstein graduated from Drew University in 2020 with his bachelor’s degree in writing and communications with a minor in film studies. He is continuing his education at Canisius College as he is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Sport Administration. While in college, he was the Co-President of the Student Athletic advisory Committee (SAAC) from 2019-20, the President of Drew University’s Pi Epsilon Pi (National Writing Honor Society) and played baseball at both Drew University and Canisius College.
