North Adams, MA - Rising junior Justin Solimine earned All-South NECBL honors after helping lead the Danbury Westerners to the league title.

Solimine was one of nine total relievers to earn NECBL postseason honors after going 2-0 with a 2.33 ERA, one save and 35 strikeouts over 27.0 innings while limiting opposing hitters to a .240 average.

In the postseason, Solimine, who was joined by sophomore Logan Pfannenbecker in Danbury's run to the title, stuck out three over 4.0 innings of two-run ball in the Westerners' 9-2 victory over in game one of the South Divisional Finals.

In 2021, Solimine struck out 23 over 29.1 innings for the Jaspers.
