EDISON, NJ (March 2, 2022) – Canisius’ Riley Davis and Saint Peter’s’ Collin Jensen have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

Davis has enjoyed a solid start to her season with the Golden Griffins, compiling six points through the team’s first four games, highlighted by a three-point effort at Bucknell on Feb. 12. The unanimous 2021 All-MAAC Rookie Team selection has scored in all 14 career games dating back to last season. The sophomore, a native of Painted Post, N.Y., is majoring in biology. She has been named to the dean's list in all three semesters at Canisius.

Baseball
Jensen recorded a hit in all five games for the Peacocks baseball team to open up the campaign. In his first at bat of the season, he went yard at FDU on February 23. He also recorded two runs, and two hits. In the series with Coppin State from February 25-27, he had five hits, two RBIs and scored one run. A sophomore from Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, Jensen transferred to Saint Peter’s this season from Northampton C.C. He leads the team in batting average (.438), hits (7), home runs (1), and total bases (11).
