Men’s Track Performer of the Week:
Glenmour Leonard-Osbourne, Marist
So., Ardsley, NY, Ardsley
Glenmour Leonard-Osbourne led the way with a school-record time in the 100-meter dash, winning in 10.39 seconds. This breaks his week-old record of 10.50, set at Colonial Relays. Later in the afternoon, Leonard-Osbourne won the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.36 seconds.
Co-Men’s Field Performer of the Week:
RJ Decker, Manhattan
So., Otisville, NY, Minisink Valley
Decker won the hammer throw at the Metropolitan Championships last weekend with a best of 58.92m. The mark meets the IC4A Qualifying mark. This mark would be second in the MAAC this season, only to Decker's mark from the Raleigh Relays. At Mets, Decker also finished 4th in the javelin (44.35m).
Co-Men’s Field Performer of the Week:
Evan Niedrowski, Monmouth
Fr., Wyomissing, PA, Wyomissing Area High School
Niedrowski won the javelin throw at the Lehigh Invitational, posting a mark of 68.45m which is best among MAAC competitors this season. That mark is also a new Monmouth freshman record and slots Niedrowski at fifth on the all-time list.
Women’s Track Performer of the Week:
Yasmeen Tinsley, Monmouth
Fr., Arlington, VA, Washington Liberty High School
Tinsley won the 400m hurdles event at the Lehigh Invitational with a time of 1:02.08, which is tops among all MAAC competitors this season. It's also ninth all-time in Monmouth history.
Women’s Field Performer of the Week:
Alexandra Preckajlo, Manhattan
Gr., Ocean, NJ, St. Rose
Preckajlo won the discus and shot put at the Metropolitan Championships over the weekend. She also finished 3rd in the hammer throw. Preckajlo won the discus with a mark of 13.28m, which was by 0.5m. In the discus, she hit an ECAC qualifying mark with a best of 49.58m, which was over 5 meters clear of second place.
