Max Grant had a stellar week for Canisius, posting a .524 batting average with two doubles, two home runs and 12 RBI over four games. He also scored six times during the week. In the Griffs' three-game series against Marist, Grant drove in all 12 of his RBI on the week, posting three consecutive games with at least three RBI. The Fredericton, New Brunswick, native also recorded a pair of four-hit games against the Red Foxes.
Pitcher of the Week
Trey Dombroski, Monmouth
Jr., Manasquan, NJ, Wall
Dombroski posted a career-high 13 strikeouts, the most by a Hawk in six seasons, while allowing just one walk and three earned runs in eight innings in a win at Quinnipiac.
Rookie of the Week
Reed Interdonato, Monmouth
Fr., Scottsdale, AZ, Horizon
Interdonato threw three shutout innings in getting his first career win over Big East member Seton Hall. He struck out one and walked just two in the start.
