EDISON, NJ (May 27, 2022) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) today announced appointments for the Committee on Athletic Administration (COAA) and multiple sports committees, passed by COAA on Wednesday, May 25.
Appointments for COAA include Manhattan College’s Director of Athletics, Marianne Reilly and Marist College’s Associate Director of Athletics/SWA/Compliance, Elizabeth Donohue. Reilly will Chair the committee and Donohue will serve as Vice Chair. Both positions are two-year terms that will run from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2024.
Sports committee chair appointments include Lynne Robinson and Justine Miller of Mount St. Mary’s University. Robinson, Director of Athletics, will serve as Chair of the MAAC Outdoor Track and Field Committee and Miller, Associate Director of Athletics/SWA, will be Chair of the MAAC Softball Committee.
Three additional sports committee appointments were also passed and they include a pair of administrators and a coach. Brianna Scapperotti, Manhattan’s Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities & Event Management, will serve on the MAAC Softball Committee. Quinnipiac University’s Assistant Athletic Director, Compliance, Charles Tortorici was appointed to the MAAC Cross Country Committee. Paula Miller, Quinnipiac Women’s Tennis Head Coach, will serve on the MAAC Tennis Committee.
