EDISON, NJ (June 22, 2022) – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced that Manhattan College Baseball’s
Pete Durocher has been named an All-ECAC honorable mention.
The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-two-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments, and other competitions throughout the Northeast.
Durocher, a junior outfielder from Emerson, NJ hit .350 this past season with six home runs, 50 RBI, and 45 runs scored. He slashed .350/.414/.530 and was successful on 15 of his 17 stolen base attempts. Durocher finished the season with 64 hits, the eighth most in the MAAC, drew 21 walks, and only struck out 16 times. He was an All-MAAC First Team selection.
In the field, Durocher was nearly perfect. He only committed one error on 127 chances for a .992 fielding percentage and recorded five outfield assists.
